The Sudbury Regional Science Fair will be held on April 11th and 12th, 2026.
WHERE IS THE FAIR?
The Sudbury Regional Science Fair will be an in-person fair in 2026, at Laurentian University.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO COMPETE?
Any student registered in grades 7 – 12 who are under the age of 21.
WHY SHOULD I ENTER?
The SRSF is a great place to showcase your knowledge in science! You will have the opportunity to meet and make connections with other students passionate about science and science professionals from the Sudbury community. You could also win the chance to attend the national competition, the Canada Wide Science Fair.

A Note on Ethics
Please ensure you review the Sudbury Regional Science Fair Safety and Ethics Policy before finalizing your project to ensure it confirms with these standards. You can also watch a brief video explaining the ethics rules and actions required on your part to ensure compliance with the Safety and Ethics policy.
Please note that if your project involves, in any way, humans or animals as subjects of study, your project must conform to Youth Sciences Canada’s ethics policies in order to be eligible to advance to the Canada Wide Science Fair. Projects that do not meet these requirements will not be eligible to advance to the Canada Wide Science Fair, regardless of any awards received at the Sudbury Regional Science Fair. The specific policy documents to consider are 4.1.1.1, 4.1.1.2, and 4.1.2.
