STUDENTS.....START YOUR PROJECTS!

Are you a Grade 7-12 student interested in science, engineering, medicine, robotics, digital technology or mathematics?  Want a chance to win some great prizes including a trip to the Canada Wide Science Fair?  If so, you came to the right place!

Maybe you aren't doing science fair projects in your class this year?  No problem!  You can still participate in one of the three school board fairs (Sudbury Catholic Schools, Rainbow Schools or Nouvelon) or the Public Run-Off fair for students outside these participating school boards.  For those students not in one of the three participating school boards, click here for information about the Public Run-Off Fair hosted by the Sudbury Regional Science Fair Committee.

If you'd like to register your science fair project for one of these qualification fairs for an opportunity to qualify for the Sudbury Regional Science Fair, please contact our Registration Sub-Committee chair, Mr. Chris Polischuk via e-mail at christopher.polischuk@sudburycatholicschools.ca.

There are many great resources available online to help you in choosing a topic, executing your project based on the scientific method and communicating your results.  Check out the projects from the 2020 Youth Science Canada Online STEM Fair for some inspiration! Our upcoming webinars on the ProjectBoard platform, that school-level, board-level and the regional science fair will be hosted on in 2021, will be held in English on February 2nd @ 7 PM and in French on February 4th @ 7 PM to help you to understand how to present your project on this new platform.

Be sure to check back regularly for updates on our home page, the Student page as well as our Documents and News sections in order to stay up to date on important information related to the fair.  We look forward to seeing you there!

ÉTUDIANTS ..... COMMENCEZ VOS PROJETS!
